Gym Opening Plans: We are now open!
Please remember that we are a small, family run business. All of this is new to us and our plans are to ensure the safety of our staff and customers and to protect our business. We are in our 26th year of business and want that to continue!
There are ALREADY some changes to the initial info I gave you so read everything below
Main things to remember:
Bring a water bottle
No towels allowed
Follow the one way system
Use the hand gel
Clean equipment after you’ve used it
Don’t come if you’re unwell. Medical gloves not allowed. Face masks NOT recommended for exercise.
Stay 2m away from other members
You DON’T have to book gym sessions. Unlimited use. Recommend workout time is 1 hour.

We are required to keep your details for Track & Trace for 21 days. Please fill in the signing in sheet correctly.
You must clean equipment after you’ve used it.
Continue with our regular cleaning routine
Periodically clean touch points
Deep clean using a fogging machine twice a day on a weekday and once a day on a weekend.
Gym Opening Hours:
Monday-Thursday 7am-12noon & 4-8.30pm
Friday 7am-12noon & 4-7.30pm
If you are paying cash please bring the correct change.
The cardio room looks like there is lots out of use but we’ve put the kids gym equipment as every other machine to utilise the other equipment as no kids gym sessions at present.
The size of our downstairs area means we are allowed 60 people in at once to ensure adequate ventilation and to maintain social distancing. This includes staff/power plate members. Taking that into account, we therefore have a maximum capacity downstairs of 50. This is why we have stopped gym bookings as we will not exceed this number.
The Aerobics Rooms:
The aerobics room photo shows the set up for the amount of members we will have in the main room for a STATIC class. The maximum is 16 but we have chosen to have 14 as we felt 16 was too many.
For classes like Zumba where we are moving you must have more space and numbers are reduced to 9. The spin room studio is smaller so numbers will be less accordingly.
If any classes are ‘back to back’, this will be with the same group of members or classes will be in separate studios.
All of our COVID Risk assessment are available for you to read as well as our cleaning schedules.
Any questions just ask.
We know we won’t see all of you straight away, but we look forward to seeing you soon
Thanks for all your support,
Gemma & Becky xxxx
PS - we still have a few decorating jobs left to do (need to do my NHS rainbow mural on the aerobics room wall but we will get there )
